What a perfect day ,early train up to Birmingham boozing hard , a packed away end 4,000 plus Addicks hoping to see us hang on to our Premiership status in the penultimate game . The match ebbed and flowed with it finally ending with a miracle last minute winner and loopy vogueing and celebrations in the away end and results elsewhere meant the dream of survival was still alive , I was in my Charlton nirvana ........ .......one week later and a lame performance meant we were relegated and with results elsewhere would have been down anyway , don't you just love Charlton !
Fantastic memories. I was at that Villa away game and we all thought we were going to stay up after such a fantastic fighting win but it was not to be. I'm looking forward to getting copies of all the days once they've all been shown. Brilliant productions.

Yes, we were there too and I remember seeing the 'Viagra' banner on one of the coaches we passed on the M1! Really believed we had done it at that point. Steve Brown, what a player! Always ended up with the muddiest shorts through putting himself infront of everything he could possibly stop.
That brought the memories back. I was lucky enough to be there. RD should be locked in a room with this playing on a continuous loop. He may just realise that we are so much more than his bloody play thing.
We went to my wife's cousin's 40th birthday party that evening, and who should turn up but Mark Bowen. It seems it was as emotional a roller-coaster for the players as much as the fans.
My youngest's favourite ever game is the 4-3 at Watford on New Years Day a few years back.
I just showed him today's CARD advent video.... now THAT was a 4-3. Was there with my Dad. Just hope that Roland can piss off soon so I can have some more experiences like this with all three generations there.
