The work of the regime. Shouldn't pay attention to it.5

Yep I'm sure it's one of Tom Rubbashow's ideas.3
-
Weird.1
-
It's so badly written and so full of inaccuracies that it wouldn't surprise me if it had come from someone in the club!
Seriously though, it sounds like the sort of supporter that will follow the club blindly and, in Roland's case, over the edge of the cliff.
I just cannot understand how anyone can be so blinkered and so out of touch with reality.8 -

Using phrases previously directed at them: 'deluded' / 'seriously need to get a grip of their own shortfalls'. Blah blah blah - shit.cantersaddick said:Yep I'm sure it's one of Tom Rubbashow's ideas.

Maybe, maybe not. Let's not fool ourselves into thinking that all Charlton supporters feel the same way. They don't.Addickted2U said:The work of the regime. Shouldn't pay attention to it.

I thought for a second that Michael E Tucker was an anagram of Katrien Meire.....15

He is entitled to his opinion. I am boycotting because I refuse to fund Roland and watch league one football.
His last sentence is incorrect, he is not speaking out against people who think CARD will get the desired result he is simply name calling.1 -

Make Hectic Lucre.3 -
He's entitled to his opinion. I think he is in his 70s and there's definitely some in the older generation that don't like the protest aspects.6
-
My English isn't brilliant but isn't his name an anagram of 'DICK'?4
-
As AFKA says, everyone is entitled to their opinion.
That's surely the basis of our protests so no problem if he has a counter view.6 -
He's entitled to his opinion but in my opinion the only organised hooligan activity i've seen at the Valley this season was by those four nice gentlemen hired by the club at the Coventry game.28

I am in my 60s, have been going to Charlton since 1961.
I shout louder than most -"Roland out" etc. I sat in the car park last season stopping vehicles entering.
I have seen RD foist rubbish players into the team, I have seen good players pushed out. I have heard the lies as totally hopeless managers/ coaches are appointed.
I know KM is both incompetent but most significantly has insulted and hurt Charlton fans.
I know it was a generalisation but let's not think the older generation do not want to protest.
I protest for one reason- I want my Charlton back.69 -
He is entitled to his opinion and I'm sure that I've met plenty like him when handing out leaflets. They normally refuse to take anything and comment "what's the alternative?".AFKABartram said:He's entitled to his opinion. To talk about "unsavoury events that have drawn reactions from the media....." and "hooligan action" is a bit fanciful. The vast majority of reaction from the media has been hugely positive and if the protests amount to hooliganism then I dread to think what he made of what was going on in the 70s and 80s.6 -
Mr Tucker is anti CARD as shown on his blog below
http://www.charlton.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=469655
The gentleman's site is not viewed by many people, so he has decided to take it down the old fashioned route and get it published in the local press.
I don't agree with Tucker, but he is entitled to his opinion.4 -
Bravo Mr. Tucker, Bravo!NorthStandUltra said:Here you go

I've changed my mind. Arseholes like that shouldn't be allowed to voice their opinion.3
-
It is a free country but they have to accept they are in the minority. And not make wild accusations about hooliganism which is slanderous.2
-
What an absolute Pratt.0

A difference of opinion is fine but to claim that protesters are hooligans is clearly nonsense and he needs to be called out about it.stonemuse said:As AFKA says, everyone is entitled to their opinion.

Tosser!21 -
Perhaps someone local can write a riposte, with a handy checklist of the regimes foul ups.2
-
He does ask, "Am I missing the point?"
Answers on a postcard, please.

It is all the work of a "handful of agitators who are bent on bringing this club to its knees", says
Rolandour correspondent. Shouldn't be difficult to deal with that then, should it?
This is at the heart of the regime's view. It is what they believe and what they tell anyone who will listen to them. There is no problem with anything they are doing. It is all the fault of the "agitators". They believe it because they must, otherwise they have to face their own shortcomings, but it is hugely insulting to the majority of supporters, never mind the "agitators" themselves.30 -
One person writes letter.
Thousands protest and boycott.
Please tell me who represents Charlton fans?25 -
I have clocked up 57 years supporting the Addicks. I am a North Lower season ticket holder. I have joined in with every protest to date and will continue to do so for as long as necessary. Anyone suggesting that the actions I have participated in are a form of 'hooliganism' has lead a very sheltered life. To also suggest that I am being influenced and lead by a small band of agitators is, quite frankly, an insult.40
