  • Katrien seemed to take an early holiday today, couldn't see her in the DB

    The Valley's rocking.

Officially 10,193 but even allowing for no-show season tickets, cannot be anywhere near that. Who the hell is she kidding?
More lies from Meire & not wanting to face up to how badly the attendances have fallen away.

Hit the mulled wine way too early and had to go home
  • Saw the "highlights" on sky sports earlier, they had the attendance at about 4900 , sad times , but too be expected I guess.

If we do go lower, can see this going to under 4000 next season.
  • Looked very low to me.
  • Christmas shopping..
    not very attractive opposition..

    9000 official
    6000 real world

not very attractive ? .. in a play off spot and playing good football .. a team we usually wallop .. statistically (lol) we should walk this one ..
what does it take nowadays to get 'some fans' enthused enough to actually attend a game ? .. mind you, Christmas shopping's always a good opportunity to indulge others .. and yourself

...says the supporter taking the "easy" option of attending the Scunny v Millwall match !

Are you reporting back to KR , Lincs ?

On the plus side, Sue and her cronies are much happier being able to 'enjoy' a match without any of that loutish chanting and nastiness which always undermines the players' confidence and causes us to lose. This is all part of the Target20K plan. Weed out the troublemakers and then the new fans will come flooding in.
  • 5,000 max, appalling atmosphere
  • Next home game we need one person to take a good quality picture of stands opposite them (say North and West) and someone else to do the same for the other stands. The we need someone with good eyes and time to roughly count those in seats. Clearly not dead accurate as people always coming in and out, but I am sure that the discrepancy had this been done yesterday would have been vast.

It seems to be the only way we can get a real idea of how wide of the mark the official figures are.

Literally counting every single person ?
  • The club was expecting a "real" attendance of 8,000 yesterday including the away fans. I doubt if it was quite as low as some are suggesting, even if it didn't reach that.

You count the customers in the North and West stands and I will count those in the Gents toilets :-)

It's either that or watching the Best of the X Factor

I think this should be a new CARD strategy. Calculate and publish the real attendances at matches, compared to the "official" gate. I'm sure someone like Airman will know the capacity of each of the stands etc. This will cause further embarassment to the regime....
  • According to Wiki:

    North 9k
    East 6k
    West 9k
    Jimmy South 3k

I'm happy to help with the count. I've got a couple of minutes to spare.

Maybe the discrepancy can be attributed to all the apologists being counted as two people after all they are proper fans and worth at least two of the anti regime supporters. You ask them :smirk:

  • I have mentioned this before.

Get 20 people at the turnstiles for when they open and count the fans coming in.

It was done at Selhurst Park when we were there so could be again

    Upton Park, I think.
  • Plenty of free click counters on Play Store. However any count will be distorted by freebies. Could we do a freedom of information enquiry to find the extent of these? Or does the club have to report actual bodies in the ground for their insurers?
