Squad photo?

  • You think they'd at least bother to make photos for an Argos style catalogue they can use to flog our players.

So the club cannot organise the 1st team squad ro be together for 1 day to habe a picture taken. All seems very odd, particularly when you remember 5 years ago the club had a picture taken of the 1st team, and virtually all of the clubs staff as well.

The press team did organise it but then the manager got sacked as Olly said.

It does show how far the club has slipped from being well run behind the scenes though.

This is a club that didn't give the players a date to return from training or injured players a rehab programme.

Maybe the CEO could have helped if she hadnt been too busy with her PR gurus and award ceremonies.
Very good point that, Henry. In a normal club I'd expect a PR team to be saying to the boss that a high quality team photo could help raise the profile of the club and helping to make sure that it happened, perhaps doing a bit of internal PR so that all those busy people understood that it was important to reserve the time to do it. Not at our messed-up outfit though. The PR people are too busy purging the internet and helping the boss wage war on supporters.
  • The manager should be left out of the squad picture.
A separate picture of the lid of the Guess Who game could be used instead.

Lee Novak Djokovic has been Charltonised. That's how Murray has overtaken him to become No 1!

Wonder if they'd already done it once before with Dean Holden

I think they normally do it in September now, so it's after the window closes.
