Remember seeing Watership Down at the Lewisham Odeon. I didn't get to the end of the film on account of uncontrollable hysteria and had to be taken home. One scary film.

His books got the best film treatments that I can think of for any children's stories but they're worth reading in their own right

The Plague Dogs. A novel about the liberation of animals (from 'scientists' involved in vivisection).
Mr Adams had decency running through him. Bravo, Sir.

  • Bloody ell. Someone stick David Attenborough in a padded room until 2016 is over. This is getting ridiculous!

I just saw this. I started reading WD last year but got distracted. I know a lot of people who absolutely love it. 2016 really has been a shit year.
