3 of us got in after the meeting with Ufton and Lawrence at the valley club after we'd moved out. Climbed up the floodlight in the South West corner. I shit myself about halfway up and came down but the other two carried on to the top, where one of mates had a piss over the side. Picked up a few bits of paper (nothing too interesting) that were lying around and always regretted not going into the old west stand to explore, especially when I found out later what had been left behind (most of which is now in the museum)
Managed to get one of the swords from the gates though.0 -
Omg!!! That was mad , on top of the roof ! Balancing the edge at the back of the roof! Seeing that made my legs go shakey and my heart rate go up! I hate heights and in 6ft 4 lol ! That was amazing and mental at the same time!Bow_Addick said:The boy 'nightscape' started this trend, he's got some balls.
Here he is sneaking into West Ham with his pals, worth watching till the end if you can put up with the gangsta wannabe speak.

Clearly hasn't carried out any sort of risk assessment. Disgraceful.Bow_Addick said:The boy 'nightscape' started this trend, he's got some balls.

Never paid to see a game at the Valley from about 1967 to 1972. In fact, it wasn't even a challenge , especially up by the Sam Bartrams entrance. When we played Arsenal away in the cup ( not sure what year ) my mate challenged me to get in to Highbury. I slid straight under the turnstile and away. Loved those days.0

Over the years I've found there tends to be an open door/gate at some stadiums on non match days that you can sneak in and have a look through.
Recently I've been in to
- Tynecastle (Hearts)
-Murrayfield
-Bath rugby
-Leicester Tigers

Bath is a strange one - you can just walk in bowl and about around the ground or sit down for an hour and do whatever. On non match days its just 3 sides. It's basically all temporary / golf stands that make the stadium up. Lovely setting though for a ground though.LouisMend said:Over the years I've found there tends to be an open door/gate at some stadiums on non match days that you can sneak in and have a look through.

Can you get slapped with a fine for trespass?0
-
It's a Civil Offence, so it's a dispute between the land owner and the trespasser. In which case whilst the police can't act, CAFC could theoretically take them to court.. but not sure what damages they could claim?Jayajosh said:Can you get slapped with a fine for trespass?
The fact that the lads filmed their access is - perhaps unintentionally - a blinding defence if the police were to get involved. As the fact they broke nothing to gain entry protects them from being accused of anything criminal.
However, if the club were to contact them and say "You're not allowed to do that again", and they returned, then I believe any future trespass in the next 6 months would technically be criminal.0 -
So it's your fault we nearly went bustmasicat said:Never paid to see a game at the Valley from about 1967 to 1972. In fact, it wasn't even a challenge , especially up by the Sam Bartrams entrance. Dog tells stories of sneaking over the back wall at the back of the stand on matchdays. Now people are trying to get out on most matchdays. Usually begins shortly after kick-off.1

I'm not sure this is a laughing matter really, what if him and his mate were to do this on a Saturday afternoon when we are at home. It won't be so funny when the players are tripping over him as he fannies about with his GoPro (or just tripping over for no reason in Patrick Bauer's case)
