You don't honestly expect us to believe you were watching something other than porn do you?DaveMehmet said:Watching the Discovery channel and a message flashed up saying that it may not be available for Sky subscribers from 1st Feb. Checked the website and they are in dispute with Sky over the terms of the new contract. Affects a few channels, including Eurosport.

With that and the rumoured price hike in march. I can see Sky losing some business here.0

We'll probably think about switching too. Virgin are always trying to flog their packages, which look decent.T.C.E said:With that and the rumoured price hike in march. I can see Sky losing some business here.

I switched to virgin about a year ago after about 25 years with sky.
Much better internet with virgin.
Free BT sports with virgin.
Free repairs with virgin and
Cheaper with virgin1 -
Will definitely expect a reduction in my bill if Sky stop broadcasting these channels.1

Just had a letter from sky saying they're increasing the price again. It's only a couple of £ extra but it's the 2nd price increase in 6 months.
Thinking of getting rid0 -
If you're in contract you'll be able to get out of it early if they've raised your prices twice now.Chrissy\\\'s Army!! said:Just had a letter from sky saying they're increasing the price again. It's only a couple of £ extra but it's the 2nd price increase in 6 months.

That was predictable!DaveMehmet said:Been announced that last minute deal has been reached and the channels will continue to be shown on Sky.
My wife was doing her nut last night because she watches those "Women who kill" programs most nights as we go to bed - she was pissed that they might not be available any more.
More to the point - if I ever disappear suddenly....you now all know my wife has topped me

Wouldn't miss discovery if it went. Once upon a time the documentary channels used to show documentary programmes. Now its just reality tv around some nonsense bullshit trying to convince you its real.2
