Think I am stuck at a family event, but if I can wangle out, it's not too late to book is it?3
-
There's a few places available on the organised coaches and we're ready to lay on another one if need be. All welcome.Weegie Addick said:Think I am stuck at a family event, but if I can wangle out, it's not too late to book is it?

Hi Alan. What is the best guess at total numbers (don't answer if you think this will give some tactical advantage to RD)? Will there be more Charlton supporters in Belgium than at Northampton? Just interested in comparative numbers. See you on the 4th!Davo55 said:

Can't wait to get onboard. Planning to bring sausage sandwiches for those on the SE7 coach. Who wants brown sauce? (Brown sauce is Chris Powell's preferred condiment according to his appearance on Danny Baker's sausage sandwich game)3

Travelling by coach from Ebbsfleet & staying in Hasselt without Mr F.
But NO-ONE will be alone on this trip, believe me !
We're the Charlton family !16 -
Early days still on total numbers Peter but it will be in the hundreds rather than the 10s!PeterGage said:

Realistically, I think the numbers going to Northampton will be higher than going to Belgium - new stadium for us, fairly easy to get to etc. But, it's not a competition and we are delighted with the response we've had for Belgium. And we'll all be hoping for 3 points at the Northampton while we're out there.8 -
Can I have two if they are free please?Glass_Cartographer said:Can't wait to get onboard. Planning to bring sausage sandwiches for those on the SE7 coach. Who wants brown sauce? (Brown sauce is Chris Powell's preferred condiment according to his appearance on Danny Baker's sausage sandwich game)

If anyone is in the situation of making a choice, Northampton tickets are £22 (plus CAFC bacon sarny) versus trip to Belgium £25 (plus @Glass_Cartographer sausage butty).7

4 travelling by car. Looking forward to this.4

I can safely say that a trip to Sint Truiden is far better/enjoyable than a trip to Northampton !Weegie Addick said:If anyone is in the situation of making a choice, Northampton tickets are £22 (plus CAFC bacon sarny) versus trip to Belgium £25 (plus @Glass_Cartographer sausage butty).
Anybody who has any wish to see our club not slide into further terminal decline under the current owners needs to get to Belgium - you can get to Northampton next season (if we're still alive as a club).
This is almost a Lord Kitchener moment - OUR club needs YOU.
Please make the effort - it you will be a day that 1) You wont forget and 2) Will potentially go down as one of the pivotal days in the history of this club.
Again, PLEASE make the effort25 -
Very true Fanny. Don't anyone be put off by arriving by yourself - I won't have met anyone previously. Meeting up for the first time with fellow Lifers and Warriors on the Ebbsfleet coach and staying in Hasselt. PS I'm sure everyone will recognise me instantly from my circa 1955 thumbnail pic!Fanny Fanackapan said:Travelling by coach from Ebbsfleet & staying in Hasselt without Mr F.

I will be on the SE7 (Sausage Express) coach.
This is my 63rd season and in all that time the occasion I regret not bothering to attend the most is the glorious Valley clean-up day.
To those still undecided about attending in Belgium I'd say please do your best to join in - you'll always regret it if you miss out. The Valley Party created political history and the Addicks Crusade '17 must also surely be a ground-breaker as a unique cross-border large-scale sporting protest - history again in the making.
I don't do many aways because, having Parkinson's, it really does require an enormous effort. (Last Saturday was a bastard, although much mitigated by going with my son Ben.) However, on the big day I will throw myself on the tender mercies of the WAR-party Florence Nightingales ;-) and all I can say is, if this is the day I finally succumb - what a way to go !!
Last I heard being an Addick is a full-time, not a part-time occupation - DUTY CALLS !!

That's England and Ireland covered then, along with parts of Europe. How about Wales and Scotland? Anyone travelling from there? I know weegieaddick is going beyond the call of duty and is desperate to be physically in Sint-Truiden (she'll definitely be there in spirit) but not sure about the Principality sending an envoy?el-pietro said:Flying in to Amsterdam from Cork, Ireland.
