Genk away in pre season 2015 the club put a photo on the website with the entire away crowd - must have been about 53 fans there if I recall
The Sint Truiden game potentially had an even lower number of fans there despite it being a more appealing game than the one at Genk but it was difficult to tell as we were all mixed in with the home fans and of course with no goals to cheer either that night. Think that's the only time i've ever watched a Charlton game being mixed in with the other fans and vastly outnumbered too.0 -
Luton away on a bitterly cold night with snow piled up around the pitch, I think my two brothers and me were about 10% of the away end, and I think we lost to a Hartson goal. Slipped on the ice and fell AoverT when got back to the car.0

Spot on. I did a head count as it was more fun facing away from the pitch that day (Uncle Les's goodbye as it turned out.) Think I counted 75. We took a solitary coach and I recall us being clapped out of the car park afterwards. Only eight months after our pervious Riverside visit when we took 6k. I'd imagine that's the biggest swing in attendance any club has ever managed. I was there. I think the official number was 218. What a shit match until we scored with about 10mins to go. Was it Cousins? Grimsby Town away mid 1990,s 73 away fans in total and one of them turned up at halftime having booked himself out of hospital that morning in Greenwich.Will not name him but those of us that travelled that season will know who i am talking about.Charlton won that day 1-0 well worth going.
How do i remember this i helped run the away travel back in those days.1 -
Bradford away on Election Day in 1997 (game played on a Thursday for some reason) can't have been more than 40-50 Addicks there. I was at university in Leeds hence being one of them0

Went in the Torquay end at the vetchfield around '97 and was 2 of 16 and a half.
We counted them and chose to only count a dwarf as a half.

Was about 250 away fans and our coach arrived 20 minutes after kick off, oh and we lost, of course.0 -

Oldham away 84-85 (in the snow).....was defintely under 100.

Chelsea vs Charlton reserves - 1987/8. Freezing cold winter's day at Stamford Bridge. 3 of us - myself and 2 Chelsea fans. When they scored the Chelsea fans turned round and sung 'you're not singing any more'.

Friendly wise we had about 15 fans at Tooting & Mitcham around 2008 as most people went to the simultaneous Welling friendly, expecting a stronger lineup. They were wrong and we won 5-0 or 5-1 in Tooting.0 -

Pre-season friendly away at Stevenage. Four in our group plus a bloke with his girlfriend. We won 4-0 with Kiwomya bagging a couple.0

We've done this thread before. I was one of 7 or 8 at Blackburn Rovers in a rearranged league game midweek following the Saturday postponement as the country was blanketed in snow. There were six of us in the away end I think one or two in the seats - Les Turner was definitely one of them.0

Damn, too late for the show, (which I missed by supervising homework), but a female friend went to an Intertoto Cup match at Brentford in the 80s, when they had drawn an minor Italian team in the first round.
She thought she might meet a nice Italian man in the away end, so bought herself a ticket and the appropriate scarf, but found herself completely on her own. Literally, no fans had made the journey from Italy. She had made the trip from her house which was 200 yards from the ground.
She was extremely embarrassed when the Italian team in question came over and applauded her at the end of the match.23 -
Was at that Burnley game too. Went up on the coach and got a freebie ticket from our club officials as we were getting off the coach.
