Going to drive up and stay overnight for our game on 28th. Never been so any recommendations on where to stay i.e. is there anything around ground or best stay in centre etc.
I lived in Shrewsbury from about 2 until 30 ish,and its shreeeewsbury not shroesbury.regarding hotels, not much around the ground but further along the A5 is a travel lodge thing but much more pleasant in the town.
Another vote for Ludlow. Such a beautiful town it should be in Scotland by rights.
Doesn't it have three or four Michelin restaurants......I believe so and it's reputed to be one of the finest places in the country to eat out! Many say it's in fact "the" best place.
We're staying in the Weatherspoons - nowt cheap about us.
Shrewsbury Hotel - £70 B&B for a twin room
I know of somebody else posting on this thread that is staying at the very same place - I would say he'll probably buy you a beer - but there's no chance of that. You can probably work out who I mean.
