The effort was there. Just very little quality.

So like the games being played tomorrow up the park by fat blokes with hang overs.
That's unfair - I always try my best.

Can't even be bothered to read or listen to him.

I liked some of his passion and honestly early on but after 2 games in a few days where we have created very little and did not had any periods of domination with no affective changes to tactics or personnel that speaks louder than 20 minutes of Robinson.

Our finishing today was,not for the first time, shambolic.

Was it? What clear cut chances did we miss?
Novak's useless free header that went well wide.
And the one that hit the crossbar should really have gone in.
And the header the keeper saved was a good chance.
And the Novak point blank shot the keeper blocked.
Watt's effort was six inches too low, which is how the keeper managed to get a hand to it.

    We basically don't have finishers.

And we've messed up Mavididi (by over playing him), but at least Tarbs owned up to it.

Of course the better players on display today are all likely to have left by next season.

    Which is nice.

I don't have any coaching badges so could be wrong here, but I thought that was catergorically shite.

I could understand it if we were playing some good football and losing the odd game but the football being served up is shite. Again.

Novak missed an open goal, with that pathetic header.

Despite RD being a total $%$%, our squad should still be challenging for the play offs and it's quite clear, that Robinson has made a total pigs ear of it. The players haven't the slightest clue what they are meant to be doing.

KR needs to go back to basics as Curbs used to say. Stop the rot by starting with the basics. He's trying to be too clever by half and he's simply confused all the players.

Reminds me of when John Barnes managed Tranmere some years ago and they were heading for certain relegation.
Barnes was sacked, they got back to playing L1 football and survived.

Can I be the first to suggest that Robinson is the new Eichler?

You mean Escher, yes? For some reason I feel we're more the inner set of people on the stairs here - round and round, forever downwards:

And Mavididi's poor touch that took him wide instead of straight in on goal in the 2nd half. Novak won't get that many chances in a game again.

Robinson can bemoan bad luck, endlessly claim we are the better side and that the opposition goalkeeper was lucky/brilliant, and for one or two games he might have a point. But it doesn't wash in the medium to long term where, generally, teams get what they deserve. The excuses are starting to ring a bit hollow, Karl ... I wonder if even you believe them any more?

Probably not to win but we deserved a draw on the 2nd half performance.

That's ok then. Enough to earn a point at home against BURY.
With that knowledge tucked away, I'll be rushing out for a ticket against whoever the next 2 bob team are to visit The Valley.
    A flag ? After 4 months ? How odd.
