Cheese Footballs

As a follow-up to the Twiglets thread.
I used to love cheese footballs as a kid.
But I got to eat some last Christmas for maybe the first time in 35 years.
How can I put this politely?
They had no redeeming features. Whatsoever. I couldn't really even work out what they were made of.
A real let down.

Whoever own the cheese footballs company must have to budget well over the year because he must be minted at xmas but no income for 11 months of the year.

Cheesy footballs tasted as disgusting as they looked.

  • We knew them as toejam footballs, as they tasted like the were made from the cheese between your toes. Didn't the Beatles refer to them in "Come Together" on Abbey Road?
