That's ok then. I'm glad we didn't hire a manger with superb tactical nous or the ability to sign quality players at bargain prices. As long as he's being honest while he wins 11% of matches, I'm happy.
60% of all footballers are spoilt, moody, disloyal, thick, moaning ars***es. A few have something in them that is best to call character. It is good to have at least three or four of these type in the side if you are going to be successful. I'm not sure how a kid in underpants, watching you tube in his bedroom is going to work out who these players are. Of course Curbs and Powell did their homework.
Kinsella, Powell, Robbo those sort of players - you need them. They played for the shirt. .
His various up's and downs - they're brilliant, they're awful, dedicated, not fit to wear the shirt and so on just shows his immaturity. We needed an experienced manager to sort this rabble out, instead we get a 36 year old who's only ever managed at one club, only knows one system and has not played at even a remotely quality level.
He went wrong from the very beginning trying to push round pegs in square holes with his system of play, everyone could see it, in any walk of life if you walk into a team you work with what you've got until you can change those you feel you need to and you get the best from what you have.
Getting the best of what we have should have seen us safely mid table and probably just not enough to reach the play offs but at least keeping that hope alive until the last couple of games.
Instead he's turned average into poor and average safety to flirting with relegation, no excuses for that and i'm getting royally fed up with listening to his ramblings. No doubt Tuesday night he'll be back to being positive and how great they all are again, probably be presentations tomorrow.......

Very very true! But your making me sad thinking about players like Kinsella, John Robinson and Sir Chris! We need them now! That's the sad bit

Well ok, he has said that he accepts responsibility as well. He is also blaming himself and not just the players.

Smokescreen. Make it look like they are all to blame. RD can't sack them all, so KR gets to keep his job!
The main reason fans got angry that Watt was going off, wasn't because they necessarily wanted Watt to stay on. It was because they wanted Novak to go off.

And more from Karl - he explains why he took Watt off, which was booed at the time https://www.londonnewsonline.co.uk/21914/charlton-boss-explains-tony-watt-come-off-peterborough-defeat/
Another week he has a great set of players
Repeat over and over again
Sums up the clueless prick
Just win games!
I wonder why they're not playing for the fool ?
"He rolled his ankle on Thursday during training".
So, in fact Karl, he *has* trained then..?
Talks utter drivel.
Oh!

Roll on 30th April,
Is it me or is that possibly the most ridiculous statement he's ever made ?
