Greg - you sound like a Londoner. Where are you from?
Contestant - Woolwich.
Greg - Millwall fan?
Contestant - I'm not really into football.
Greg - oh, what are you cooking for us tonight?
He should have said - oh, you're a Charlton fan then. But he missed a wide open goal.

I think you're alright @iainment, what you talking about
Thinking about complaining to the BBC.

As a license payer, I feel I should bring your attention to the appalling language and ignorance of geographical boundaries exhibited by Gregg Wallace on the Masterchef programme last night.
He asked a contestant if he was a 'Millwall' (language) supporter following him providing confirmation that he was from Woolwich (geography).
Was Gregg making assumptions on the basis that the contestant was a bald fella who appeared to be wearing a string vest under his apron. Also, at the start of the programme, I think I saw him put his flat cap in the designated locker and was arguing in the foyer with the other contestants over the preparation time for meatballs.
I await your reply with interest.
Yours,
A Charlton supporter
Thanks to my wife, I dont think I've watched much else over the last 3 years
Been the best series yet for quality of the contestants, but I think Steve might just walk away with it.
These days they are cooking in water baths and doing spherification and all sorts of self satisfied nonsense from round one. They go from amazing chefs to slightly more amazing chefs. There is no narrative arc anymore.
Cmon Steve!
daynight! Plus she'd cook up a great brekkie in the morning. Bonus!C'mon Steve!!!!
But really like Steve too and hope he wins it now.
All three of them looked awesome cooks.
