ENGLAND LIONS Jamie Porter of Essex has been called into the England Lions squad for the closing stages of the Royal London One-Day Series against South Africa A, which concludes in Northampton on Monday.
Porter replaces Steven Finn following his call into the England squad for the ICC Champions Trophy.
The 24-year-old was selected for England cricket's Pace Programme in Potchefstroom last winter after a second consecutive strong season for Essex in Division Two of the Specsavers County Championship, and has played a key role in their successful return to Division One this season taking 24 wickets in five matches at an average of 22.

Jamie Porter of Essex has been called into the England Lions squad for the closing stages of the Royal London One-Day Series against South Africa A, which concludes in Northampton on Monday.

He's bowled consistently well since he broke into the Essex 1st X1
2nd top wicket taker in Div 1 before this round of games which Essex are not playing in.
