If the Aussie bid has fallen through, are we stuck with Duchatelet for months longer or is there really a British (or other) consortium waiting in the wings? If there is an alternative, how quickly could they do the deal? If it's a British group, what are the chances that Murray is in it up to his neck?
I've got a feeling we'll be debating these issues on here in the next week. It's got to be better than another run round "pot noodles we have loved".
After all this time, if the Australians are unable to complete their purchase, it really comes as no surprise. Duchatelet, if he remains serious about selling the club, has very little room to manoeuvre, other than to reduce the asking price or to embark on a fire sale, before reducing the price. Whatever he decides, the only losers will be the supporters. Sad times.
A random person with 4 posts on "the other site" has claimed the Aussies have found two American investors who have the funds to complete the takeover.
Roland to bring in a few Belgian cronies and the Club will be run like one in severe administration for a huge part of next season until Varney and his associates hoover it up for a quid probably some time after Christmas.
Thats a disaster if it has fallen through, what a mess. This season is a total write off. Bowyer reckons top 2... yeah right!! What player in there right mind would want to join us atm with our future up in air.
IF it has collapsed, among all the recriminations let us all just remember one thing. There is a certain deluded old Belgian cunt where the blame lies squarely at the feet of. Please let's let the cunt have it!

Can you imagine if it happened Saturday and the thread was closed
What a tragedy
He still wants to sell and so far they are the only known buyers.
Is RD willing to cut the Aussies dead when there is no other party ready to put their money down.
Just can't see RD shutting the door on the Aussies 100%
