Raining so kids can fill water bottles from the sky.
Problem sorted, stop moaning and get behind the team13 -
Then why would the Aussies be up for someone sabotaging the chances of their new asset?JamesSeed said:
You’re forgetting the mechanism. Money received taken off agreed priceScoham said:Roland’s waiting for the money he’ll get from selling Bauer and Aribo. Or Lookman’s sell on clause.
Which makes it worse folks, as it’s then all about saving wages. And sabotaging our chances of promotion/avoiding relegation.
It’s a very strange situation.0 -
I'd say it was a sad situation and its getting more and more absurdse9addick said:

How about “it’ll be done after Usmanov sells his Arsenal shares”?2 -
Maybe Rolly will join the consortium. Reduces his monthly losses in the short term and he can sell his share in the fullness of time or reap a full share of the Prem windfall.
I thought I would cheer you all up.2 -
I guess that's why they call it the blues Arsene?Arsenetatters said:

I'm not ITK but is it ok if I swing my dick just a little bit?9

If there was money in the protest fund still uncommitted, would it be possible to organise a public delivery of water to the training ground perhaps, a gift from the supporters to the youth players?
HA - ignore me - well done guys!3 -
In any takeover it is normal for the buyers to get the sellers to make unpopular decisions prior to the sale, so the new management is not tainted from the start. Could be the Aussies have given Roly a monthly cost/payroll figure that he has to get to before the sale can go through. Hence the player sales and other economies.Scoham said:

It’s an undefined mechanism if you recall @JamesSeed0

After 5pm today (or is it 7pm?) There is little point of urgency in having any kind of takeover.
There has been endless speculation, and also what I take to be deliberate misinformation from the club (take a bow comms team) which will now be followed by more deliberate misinformation as we stagger on.
In terms of reputation, if not in terms of his job, Lee Bowyer is the safest manager in football. ' It is what it is' could also be translated into 'I'm all right Jack whatever happens' (although the thin squad of players have upped their effort under Bowyer).
When Keohane or some other supplicant is established to make a smaller club whilst they drive a bigger car, that will be that.
Even if Bowyer is a miracle worker (he will have to be in order to magic decent players out of thin air) it is now half a second to midnight to have a chance to make the season have any potential.
As fans we have been royally played. Two people, Richard Murray and Roland Duchatelet, are responsible for this. When they next hold forth (probably via their underlings) it is worth putting everything through your bullshit filter, but don't be surprised when you find it is still bullshit coming out the other side.

If, as seems likely, Murphy &co admit defeat it's hard to see another buyer wanting to take the club on in the state it will be in by the time the last rites are passed on the takeover. For the same reason Murphy will find it harder to persuade investors to join the consortium. We face death by a thousand cuts. The Villa takeover took a week according to Steve Bruce, yet we have to undergo the prolonged uncertainty 6 months after Murray told us it would be done in February.0

Maybe as a key investor in the consortium or simply flying solo.
Not sure which scenario I’d prefer.....but I’m edging towards the flying solo one to be honest.2 -
Good luck with that CASTrust, but don't hold your breath for an informative reply1

It is very hard to see how there can ever be a takeover unless Roland drops his price.seth plum said:After 5pm today (or is it 7pm?) There is little point of urgency in having any kind of takeover.

As we have seen, at least 4 buyers have now walked away as unable to get to his offer level or agree terms.
He is stuck with a huge amount of Debt ,no security and limited assets left to sell, all the potential buyers know this and if they are smart will sit back and await price reduction.
That is bad for all of us CAFC lovers, but for buyers with no love for the Club ,who see an investment opportunity at the right price, their best bet is to wait.
He cannot asset strip beyond the squad as others control the assets , stopping water and lights etc will save him pennies, eventually as we sit mid table and he has run up another 5 or 6mn of debt the penny will drop.
He has little room to negotiate as his cards are poor, writing to EFL as Card have done will do little, what can they do all the time he is funding the Club.
It is a waiting game, and all the buyers are saving money by standing watching on the sidelines.

Fuck Brexit,
I want Rexit.
We need the Douchebag to do a runner
Before the end of summer.
Roland never had a clue,
We're heading for League two.0 -
Good letter. Let’s hope the EFL take it seriously enough to answer those three questions. I myself have my doubts.2
