I have it on good authority that everything will be sorted out in the next two days.

(I have posted this way in advance, so that I can point back to it when the deal gets done.  Please do not read this post for a few months, at least).

Sorry H but I think the post in question is suggesting that it’s the current offer.

Still not news. Of course he's "rejected" the offers made as he hasn't signed.

He knows his value, isn't desperate and can call Roland's bluff, as he did over the first incompetent offer.

Don't read or believe anything from that site.

Did I blink and miss out on a post about the first Anglo-Dutch war 1652-4, marking Britain's historic rise as a naval power, equalling and besting its biggest and nearest rival; argued to be the first purely naval war, and fought by dedicated warships exploiting Line ahead formation in one of the earliest known examples?

    tsk..

The silence from the club is deafening, what’s going on, starting to get concerning. If Duchatelet wasn’t running the club I wouldn’t be concerned, but he is .

You - and all of us -have every right to be concerned in my opinion. Does anyone know if there is a press conference today? If so, if what I have been told is correct,  I'm not expecting good news.
    Come on then...
I wonder if this comment is related to a post from another site that is saying Bowyer has rejected a contract offer.

No it's not, just something I was told verbally yesterday, sorry can't say more. Not trying to be deliberately evasive - and of course it could just turn out to be like 99% of the rumours flying around - total rubbish.

If you are referring to me I am not a 'random new poster' - have been posting for years. I'm certainly not a WUM. Now I know how James Seed felt. I'll keep anything else I hear to myself.

Jacob's post looks like a joke to me, as he says......

OK not to worry, I do the same (skim read that is). It was info I was told yesterday (verbally) partly concerning who had and hadn't been offered contracts. Am doubting the wisdom of saying anything now because (and quite rightly) people want to know details/source etc. which I can't provide. Just hoping it was 'Chinese whispers' and Roland comes to his senses but I wouldn't hold my breath. In fact he was quoted as saying he didn't want promotion but of course, that's nothing new. I despair of him ever selling.

When was Roland quoted as saying he didn't want promotion ?
He may have said that and I may have missed it.
He may even have thought it, without saying it.
But I'm just saying I don't recall him saying that.

I do recall Dave White amongst others saying that's what they thought (and may well be right).
