It seems one of the hitches for Dalman is a charge on Sparrows Lane by messrs Whitehead, Chappell and Summers. Probably over and above the £7m on the Valley. Has this been addressed before? Anyone have a clue or contact with any of the above?
@DOUCHER there’s no doubt Dalmat is at advanced stages of negotiation. We knew that two days ago. Have you heard something that makes you believe it’ll get over the line?
There has been no doubt it has been reported in the press and indeed cardiff people had talked about it but today was the first time i'd heard from within charlton that Dalmat is the man looking to buy and that it is at advanced stages. That's a relief to me coz papers aren't as reliable as people within the club. That's good news to me anyway, not everybody will believe me of course so its not so good for them necessarily and therefore nothing has changed for them. The aussie thing (i've been completely cynical about since lat years fiasco) may well still be in the running but to know that somebody who genuinely appears to have the ways and means is definitely at the table is good news to me and makes the chances of a takeover being imminent far higher now in my book - there's no doubt in my mind that bowyers contract negotiations are entirely linked to the takeover as well, hence the delay although i guess we will find out a lot more tomorrow.
Reams sharing some Dialogue between himself and the main antagonist from Luther season 1 episode 4.
Some interesting stuff, the Paul bloke reckons if Mehmet does come to Charlton he would bring Warnock with him. Personally I wouldn't be happy with Warnock replacing Bowyer unless Bowyer walked himself. Each to their own though

Thank god we have sane, stable owner on our end of the negotiation table to make sure Addicks' best interests are represented.
Really feel for Steve but we’re literally begging Joe to sign for an English club so we get a bit more cash to possibly supplement a shambles of a budget.
I would say I’m embarrassed but to be honest this is absolutely gut wrenching.
Happy birthday @NapaAddick . Once or IF the takeover is done can we organise a Charlton Life beano to your vineyard? I’ll be chief wine taster if that’s ok?

It doesn't matter anyway, it's not like Gallen will see much, if any of that money for new players if RD stays.
If we are not sold by June 30th We need to turn the pressure on RD massively as much as we can.
Enough is enough. So many interested parties and RD is just playing hardball. It's about time we did too, all of us as one.
By boycotting and not buying season tickets? Not enough want change enough for that as we have seen.
Again, its not about people not wanting change, everone wants him gone, some people need the football in their life to help them.
Also if Roland lost 1 million in ST sales, he would just sell Taylor to make up for
But the club would not be in his ownership for too long if they were playing to a near-empty stadium. Sadly, not enough fans wishing to make that sacrifice ( but I recognise any, or no action, is an individuals choice).
Again, some people need to go football, its not about making a sacrifice.
Nobody needs to go to football, it's a habit. A lot of people just go to get pissed up with their mates. Some go for family reasons son & dad etc. but there's always something else you could do with those same people. Coming up to my fourth season of boycotting & I was disappointed to miss the LB effect this past year & especially the Doncaster semi & the scenes from Wembley were fantastic but i won't break MY self imposed boycott. Sadly I think a lot of people got carried away this season & have returned & there will NEVER be a mass boycott that much is certain.
I can tell you for a fact this is not true @charltonbob
Edit: To add more clarity, I hate Roland but going to Charlton was pretty much the only thing that got me through and helped keep me alive this past year
And TBH I am currently trying to find a way of getting the £375 together to keep my seat for next year no matter who is owner(including catsitting for @iainment)
If Dalman takes over there’s a massive possibility that Warnock will come with him.
That being the case, where on earth does all this uncertainty (re an imminent takeover), leave Bow’s contract discussions today with The Helmet? Bow can only sit tight and see which way the dice roll.....a very awkward and undeserved situation has arisen for him. I don’t envy him one bit. My guess is the best option for Bow is to try and organise a one year contract for as much as he can, in the hope of negotiating a better deal somewhere down the line with new owners.........should a takeover occur.
Not sure if anything came from it yet, but there was a video meeting between Lieven and the Aussies yesterday. Focused on the outstanding issue, the loans. Great stuff from Doucher yesterday. If this Dalman fella is a good sort, and has the funds to take the cub forward then I’d be more than happy for him, or the Aussies, to takeover, I just hope it’s done quickly. Personally I’d much prefer Bowyer to Warnock, even though Warnock is a good manager. Bowyer is a legend, and the players seem to love him.

Cheers Gerard.
TBH, I'd much rather the Turkish fella than your lot. He's been working in English football for a good few years and at a similar sized club to ours where he's had plenty of success.
The Aussie philosophy had a fair bit of wishy washyness to it if I remember rightly. Plus they take bloody ages to get anything over the line!

When he was born his mother's water broke and he came out the porthole at a rate of knots.

decent mentor for bowyer
I think exhaustion is to blame

Why would his first thing to do as owner be to get rid of the bloke who brought the fans and players back together and dragged us out of league one.
