    This is the EFL we are talking about, nothing surprises me.

    We already know how slow they are and there’s a few other clubs going through similar takeovers. We just gotta wait unfortunately.

    I agree. I remember saying at the time that the next two and a half weeks could be critical.

    I wouldn't assume that it's the EFL dragging their feet on this deal. I'm sure they are being extra cautious because they got pelters from  us and others (Blackpool, Coventry, Bolton, Bury) but they might just be waiting on additional information sought from the proposed buyers. It's as frustrating as hell to have to wait but if it means we are assured that the new owners are bona fide, with appropriate funding in place, then I'm content to let the EFL do what they need to.

    Did cawley not say when deal went through they was hopeful for it to be done before Xmas? So still within expected time frame. 

    To be honest if any issues it would of leaked by now I think. No new is good news in some respect
