My lips are sealed.
You sound like my wife
Only 24 hours till you hit the Millers Arms Shooters, the last thing you will find is sealed lips!
As the Chinese say when discussing the internal machinations of the ruling Communist Party, "Those who talk really don't know and those who really know don't talk."
My lips are sealed.
Mine are also sealed; but with a slightly knowing smile forming at the edges, a hint of a smirk breaking out, leading to an involuntary raising of the right hand in a sort of an acknowledging wave, which in turn causes a minuscule nod of the head.
The picture you should be getting is that annoying smug look only politicians can adopt as they push through reporters on the way into Downing Street on the first day of a new Government. You know, the face you would really like to punch.

So RM spoke to 'some' staff at the training ground .... not all staff so was he trying to find out who keeps leaking information to those ITK
Or he was just speaking to the staff who were on site that day. I'm sure the club employ a lot of people part-time, especially for match days, so he's not really going to be able to tell everyone all at once. There was probably a follow-up email.
Given Murray said basically the same thing to the Trust nary a fortnight ago, I don't think is is part of some larger witch hunt to root out the leakers.

He spoke to staff at the Valley one week and then at Sparrows Lane, who were gathered on an IT training course of some sort, the following week.
RD is slowly killing the club, RB would be a quick death of Charlton. There will be a club with a similar name in a different ground and different kit but it won't be Charlton. Not to me anyway.
That would be it for football for me.
I know it's just one dodgy Twitter account but I cannot emphasise enough how bad this will be.

Give me Charlton in the champions league and i think i'd live with the little RB in front of our name
But you wouldn't have Charlton in the Champions League. You'd have the London iteration of a global energy drink marketing project in the Champions League.

I know they're highly unlikely to be involved, but if they were I'd want to look closely at their plans for the club.
Football, or at least the Premier League, is becoming increasingly over-commercialised, and with Facebook's future involvement only likely to fuel things further, who knows what the future may hold. And in a future when people will possibly have more leisure time (one way or another), the entertainment and sports industries are only likely to grow.
I heard a year or so back that Corbyn's team want some sort of inquiry into the way football changing, and claim they want to do something about it. You can argue that they're just saying anything to win votes, but at least someone has said something.
Alternatively, the Prem is the best league in the world, so leave well alone.

Chill. It’s not Red Bull.
No, it's not Red Bull. But the thread has now (for at least the fifth time) wandered onto the merits or otherwise of Red Bull.

Well, I don't necessarily think so. For all its myriad faults, the FA/general English football governing bods tend to realise that original brand importance (for want of a less clunky phrase) is pretty important.
Look at what happened with "Hull City Tigers" - met with outrage and the fans were backed by pretty much everyone.
While we'd likely see the Red Bull Valley (because let's face it we don't need to move out of the Valley nor would it make financial sense), and maybe some form of bovine motif, the identify of the club wouldn't be changed much - because people wouldn't allow it to change.
Think to the Leeds crest, we'd probably be safe there - and other such.
That said, I'd feel uncomfortable if it were Red Bull and we "bought" our success etc.

Im in the know and I can now tell you that I heard it is The God, Jesus and Lordy oh Lordy Consultium that has bought the club. It’s going to be a hell exciting season. No more Sunday kick offs and I’m sure we will get the rub off the green. You can say you’ve heard it here first.

.I really, really dont get the negativity about RB - only Charlton fans wouldn't want loads of money thrown at its club. Its just stupidity gone mad.
So, lets say its a choice of 2 - RB or RD, you'd choose RD ?? ! As someone said earlier, ...good luck. Coz if its RB i would jump with joy - if its RD then , thats it, i'm off- you can all have your home games v Woking at The Valley in front of 3k - instead pf possibly Spurs at The Peninsular in front of 40k. its just laughable. Its like the fans on here who weren't bothered that we didnt play Spurs at Wembley this season - effing fruitcakes all of you.
They can call us what they like, RB London as far as i'm concerned - i will still know our heritage- and it will still be my club.
There is no future under RD - he is destroying us.It will eventually be a dead parrot club with The Valley looking like what Highbury looks like now.
Big money is very useful but what really gets you success is smart people. Like it or not (and of course many don't) RB Leipzig have been very very smart.

Would really be RIP Charlton.
