Abramovich would not pass the fit and proper test.

Genuine question - on what grounds? Insufficient funds? Criminal record?
    Genuine answer Peter.

Abramovich was a salesman of Russian dolls companies
I can't stand those Russian dolls, they're so full of themselves.

Who’s been on the Joke thread then!

Pure guesswork but I do wonder if there's some sort of link to those behind Everton / Arsenal.

been told that you can't be a director of the club and a trustee of the museum at the same time so certain people have to make a choice.

    It’s the Bristol Rovers chairman

If so, that’s confusing as I thought he was linked to the other bid.. middle-eastern links etc

It would be so EFL to reject our takeover on failing the fit and proper persons test.

So if what @Addickted says is correct, are we at the stage where, using a house buying analogy, we are about ready to exchange contracts?

Because I have a horrible feeling that Roland is going to change his mind and take the fridge freezer with him after all.

Look, if its means he is selling then he can take the under-soil heating boiler and ...........oh, no, wait.................

That’s what I understand. Keith Harris, however, has been linked with the Aussies.

Maybe they've come together to form one consortium? Or is that a dream?

  • If it happened to be Usmanov I would just like to point out I was the first (I think) to randomly guess the name of a super wealthy fella and come up with him be absolutely ITK about this guy.

Can’t remember what page on this mega thread now though..!

Well I can’t remember you mentioning him.
You’re simply going to have to look through the thread to prove it......off you go then!

What is the record for longest ever CL thread?

If every comment (25,300 at the moment) was printed on an A4 sheet of paper and they were laid in a line it would be 4.6 miles long...

It has been said that Scarfy is not made of polyester nylon like normal scarfs but is instead made from the finest threads of Chartlon Life. The takeover thread will be in the blend.

There's no way you could print one of Grapevine's posts on a sheet of A4, even if you used both sides.

I’ve asked. I’ve been told my call is important and I’ve been placed in a queue. An operator will be with me shortly

I asked the club but they said they sent their response in the post and told me the Royal Mail lost it.
