Just going to post the text I got this Tuesday from a close friend who works at the EFL, though not directly involved in the fit & proper owner work. He would have got his information from someone who was directly involved in it though.

"Appendix 3 completed and returned, BUT with some qualifications over possibly two 'relevant persons' - one of which is in relationship to 'Association between Clubs'".

Nothing about failing the test, just some clarifications required.

I will pester him again next week if it's still all quiet over the weekend.

    Which it will be!

The docs were with the EFL on or before 18th May. According to one of the Aussie consortium.

Still think that it’s one of the investors having links with another club. That bit is my opinion so probably wrong.

I will be on Bodo in northern Norway.
    Inside the Arctic circle.
    Where will you be?

And before anyone asks, it's bloody cold.
Missed weeks of posts hoping to read of the takeover but the same old same old crap.

I am going for Friday 15th June takeover announcement based on all the snippets I have read from James Seeds etc and dates Muir flying in etc. I am not in the know but it could be just a case of EFL wanting clarification of 2 of the investors and once approved the deal can be signed, sealed and delivered and I can have a might p** up next Friday when I am on leave. I am quietly confident it is happening, especially with the lovely old gentleman saying "I could have got CAFC in the premier league, let's see what it is like with different news in the future", that was his last passing shot as far as I am concerned. I am not concerned about no news on players coming in. Trust me they would have identified the manager, and giving him a budget and told him the list I am sure of it. A few years back I was told by a friend it is common that a lot of players don't get signed until late for this league.... Even pessimist me am totally chilled by the whole thing. We are being taken over, it is just a matter of time, could be days, a week. The Rat is going, new owners coming in. In 12 months time we will be in a new era with new owners, and something to look forward to on the pitch. After 2yrs boycott I have renewed my season ticket as I am confident it is happening. Can we all please stop fighting and bickering with each other and trying to score points of each other... Chill out everyone. We have the World Cup to look forward to and that hasn't even started yet !!

If I were superstitious, I'd worry that we are cursed (admittedly being owned by Uncle Roland is a curse in itself), but every other takeover seems to move more smoothly than ours (https://rte.ie/sport/soccer/2018/0608/969099-exclusive-galway-united-on-verge-of-saudi-takeover/).

Could the problems be to do with mashiri/usmanov and the teams they’re already involved in?

Is there any specific reason that there is a larger-than-normal number of executive-looking cars in the car park at Sparrows Lane this afternoon?

    Catch 22.
You must be sane to take over a football club.

You must be insane to pay 35 million for a league one club which will lose money at least in the short term.

Is that “Don’t panic” as in don’t panic everything will be fine or
    “Don’t panic” don’t panic, don’t panic.

Let’s see where we are at the end of today.
Oh come on! We all know nothing is going to be announced today. Why even post something like that?

    Ps - I hope I’m wrong!

As for Facebook, doesn't take much for a rumour to spread even if its false.

That's come from what Redhenry said earlier in this thread. Which was then contradicted by others.

So glad they are doing this now. We can't achieve salvation because the EFL have suddenly got morals and ethics!

Right now half our fans would rather have a bank robbers money above Roland and now we can't do it.

I bet Roland is pissed off though - clearly he wants out and now he's just getting pumped by the EFL.

Most annoying though is it's us fans that are suffering more than anyone. So thanks Roland, thanks EFL and fuck you Sepp Blatter!! (I know he's nothing to do with it but my rant needed 3 targets to feel strong enough)
