Tough Call out of William Hartnell and Jon Pertwee for the Doctor......none of the sidekicks...and as a young kid in the 60's The Cyber men scared the crap out of me.
Matt smith by a country mile. Sidekicks have generally all been good though not sure about this latest one. Scariest adversary is a tough one and reflects the times when you were watching. What scared us in the early days probably would not scare today's kids, a bit like the Hammer house of horrors output. I often wonder if I wasn't that proverbial kid that 'hid behind the sofa' because of the layout of our lounge in the sixties and the fact that my dad worked in Fleet Street and those early episodes sometimes scared the shit out of us kids then and watching doctor who did sometimes take place from behind a sofa
Tennant, Clara (stunning) and the Angels who actually really were quite scary.
Even as a kid, I was never too impressed with Daleks (just go upstairs ffs!! The levitating versions weren't available on the 2 & 6 pence budget when I was young )
Comments
Matt Smith, Clara (she is a sort too), and the Weeping Angels.
