Millwall are obviously scum, but fair play to them on the pitch, they have bottle and determination. They tend to pick it up when it matters and I think Harris has done a good job.

Calm down Jake we'll have more bottle next year next year

Katrien has promised to Google "bottle" when she gets back from her summer holibops in Dubai.

I look forward to our triumphant appearance at a bottling plant somewhere next season...whoop whoop!

The moment you get the call from the wife to say "your Giro has arrived"
"There's some supporters on the pitch. They think it's benefit day. It is now".

I doubt if all the other Championship clubs are very pleased at the thought of entertaining Millwall supporters next season .

Except for the service station on the M1 where the spanners have to collect their match tickets for |Leeds away.
Bet they're looking forward to a busy Saturday morning / Tuesday evening next season.

the efl also dont understand that there are pitch invasions for different reasons.

ours was because of owners - quite simple to resolve don't let useless c***s ruin football clubs or be in charge of them.

The ONS (Office for National Statistics) has been quick to publish.

In the Spanner support on Saturday, there were...

    1) 17,678 teeth
    2) 14 grandmothers on the pitch
    3) 15 West Ham supporters (most surprising statistic of all IMO)

    BASTARDS!!!
  • My Bradford pals are understandably furious about what happened on the pitch and outside the ground on Saturday. I have suggested they pursue the issue of the spanners being "family club of the year" and how this is clearly nonsense and to start a campaign questioning how they even got this in the first place , and to campaign for them to be stripped of the title after what happened at Wembley.

I think any such campaign would very quickly gain momentum and receive national support making the EFL look even more stupid and unfit for purpose then they do / are now
  • Apparently there is already an on line petition for action to be taken against the spanners. We must all go online, sign it and spread the word about it for others to sign

No, that's just pathetic imo, as are most modern day online petitions.

They did what loads of other clubs fans have or will continue to do, just in an (obviously) slightly more scummier way.

And I'm sure they done plenty worse that is more deserving of a groan than a ridiculed pitch invasion.

Will you cry and stamp your feet if people don't?
  • Personally the issue for me is the EFL and how they decided to award them "family club of the year" in the first place , after what happened on Saturday how can the EFL do and say nothing and allow that title to remain in place. For me it ties in with all the other issues that they are sitting on their hands ignoring - Orient, Blackpool, us - ie they are not fit for purpose

Furious? They need to take a look at themselves. People on the pitch included women & kids just running around with smiles on their faces. What made them so 'furious'?

fans celebrating on the pitch - its promotion from league 1 not a major trophy - but each to there own, the bigger issue is the running up to bradford players/staff, and goading them that is what people have an issue with, in light of recent events ( manchester ) fans shouldnt be able to get on the pitch its a few hundred not a couple, the blaming of stewards is ridiculous although they tried stopping us getting on the pitch and we all got on anyway. but national stadium home of english football a bit more respect possibly, but petitions etc is all a bit far.

a big away day as it where always has the agg factor many would of been on the piss early, im sure if we were there there would of been some wankers just looking for trouble, millwall do have a larger following of idiots but thats due to the nature of millwall support geezer types - no one likes us etc.

There was a reasonably large kerfuffle outside one of the exit gates... I've seen the video of the police trying to keep the two groups apart. My mate who was there (bradford) tells me it's because a couple of Milllll twats started on a group that consisted if 2 guys their wives and about 7 kids who were just trying to leave the area. That led to a load of Bradford jumping in to help them.

Pitch invasions are not unusual, what is unusual is for one of the managers saying he felt like thumping some of the fans on the pitch due to their behaviour towards his players and staff

Millwall's reputation is well known and warranted - he no doubt felt threatened

Sparrows point is that the scum aren't the only dickheads who fight at Wembley

They might be the only cocks who run on the pitch at Wembley after winning and goad the losing team
