The last (before the recent revival) London tram ran two weeks after my birthdate. The old ones were taken to Penhall Road in Charlton for scrapping. Here's a picture.
I think the fare on the 284 or p4 to lewisham to get my 136 or 208 to school was 30p - this was circa 1993/94
