In 1911, there was a fire in New York that killed many women and children workers at a shirt factory. It's called the "Triangle Shirtwaist Fire." The parallels of that fire and the one you have experienced are many.
And I also suspect that it could lead to major changes to your entire country, as it did in the USA. I can sense it in how your political leaders, Left and Right, are being pilloried.
If you have 20 minutes to watch both parts of this segment of the Ric Burns (Ken Burns' brother) documentary "New York", I think you will be moved. Maybe even to action. This is why I have created this post its own thread.
I can't stop thinking of how BIG this could be for you all. It's like time repeating itself. Few Americans even know of this event, anymore. But once you see this video, you won't forget it.
Hope this is useful for you all. I think you will be riveted.

PS- It's actually by his brother, Ric Burns, whose documentary "The Way West" is the greatest thing I have ever seen.
Thanks @NapaAddick. I will try and watch this over the weekend.
