    The same problem at men's level as the under 21s, the squad depth isn't strong enough.

    We are playing against a team the strength of Germany and our only striker on the bench was on loan at Burton Albion. We aren't going to win tournament with those types of players.

    Positives; Menality was good, came from behind in two matches. Pickford looked decent and will probably be number 1 in Russia. Ward-Prowse and Redmond will be involved in the squads before the World Cup

    Gray, Chilwell,Mawson and Chambers should be involved in England men's team in next 2-3 years.

    Their captain, Arnold, looked class.

    Both my nations are chuff at tournaments at times... Luckily Italy have had some success in my life.

    Saul superb - Spain a different class. England look very poor by comparison.
