    Excellent news.

Pearce signed a 3 year deal last year, so why offer an 12 month extension now when he still had 2 years left on his current deal. Win win for Pearce, if he has received a wage increase as well.
    .

It's to ensure he's around for at least the first season when we're back in the PL...

He is a John Terry type of guy and its great that he is happy at CAFC, if we can keep him fit for the season then we will be progressing.

Does this mean he's going to turn up everywhere in full kit? Hope his mum doesn't make one of those embarrassing videos...
Does that mean he parks in disabled bays and laughs at £50 fines?

Does that mean he is going to start shagging a teammates Mrs and the club will get rid of said teammate to protect Pearce?

Fair play to Pearce, it’s good to see our senior professionals setting examples and getting involved. Supporting all aspects of the club.

I have got to say though, Kim does an excellent job and although we are predominantly a men’s team and people may want to read more about Pearce, Kim deserves great credit for the work she does for CACT as well as captaining the women’s side.

    Good for him, impressive
  • Can he reignite his playing career please? Better than current options at LCB surely?

Only if we have a time machine that can take us back a few years.

  • In his new coaching role, surely he can teach the current defenders when to fart around at the back and when to hoof the ball into safety.
  • Amazed he is not ahead of Hayes as stand in. Maybe he didn't want to be?

Innis getting caught in possession in front of goal was definitely a Pearcey tribute.

Hayes has just got his brand new badge - so theoretically qualified to be manager.

Pearce won't yet be that far ahead with doing his badges.

He’s UEFA A license; not sure if that’s still all you need.

Do you need any badges to be the interim manager? I thought there was some exemption for what is essentially a temporary position.
