Azarenka struggling, 4-0 down to (the rather attractive it must be said) Catherine Bellis.

Medvedev looks a very good player. Stan never been fantastic on grass but would be a huge shock for him to go out in the first round (and also a massive help to Murray).

Stan's going out here... three break points for 5-1.

Wawrinka out in four sets. Was due to play Murray in the quarter final.

    Bedene takes the 4th set.
    What a game this is.

2 sets all and not a single break of serve.
    That's 48 games without a break unbelievable.
No tiebreak in the 5th set so something has to give.

Karlovic will be a nightmare to break. I fancy Bedene to slip up and lose serve sooner.

    I fancy Bedene.
Karlovic is 38 years old it must catch up on him

Yes and no. I prefer matches where serves aren't so dominant

I know what you mean but that's why I like different surfaces.
When you watch the French open on clay the service counts for very little it's all about rallies.
At Wimbledon the serve is a major part of a players armoury.
Like I say that's why I like different surfaces.
Borg managed to win plenty on both surfaces so it can be done

I find serve dominated games a bit dull. Similarly, if players just smack the ball back to each other as hard as they can from the baseline, that can be dull too!

Presumably a match that mixes things up a bit - slice, drop shots, lobs etc.

Yes. Dustin Brown vs Murray should be great to watch, for example
