"Charlton Athletic are pleased to announce a new partnership with Gaughan Building & Property Services.
The London-based company will have their logo on the back of the club’s shorts throughout the 2017/18 season and will also be the front of shirt sponsor for the club's academy and all children’s replica shirts.
Gaughan are specialists in delivering a complete solution for domestic and commercial building services.
Gaughan Services owner Aaron Gaughan said: “We are very excited to be working with Charlton Athletic. With their core values and ambition to get back up to the Championship, it was a journey I wanted our company to be part of.”
Although this is good news for the club and I wish the company all the best, I don't think its right to replace the sponsor on all childrens replica shirts. These days the first team shirt sponsorship is as identifiable as the badge itself, kids will not see the new shirts as same replica shirts that their heroes wear.

It is against the rules to display betting/alcohol adverts on children's kits.1

I asked elsewhere, but I assume core values is an active distain for the fans.3

I have sent Gaughan Building & Property Services an email voicing my disapproval of their choice to put money into this toxic regime. (info@gaughanservices.com)
No reply yet though.3 -
It's the rules, as above, you can have certain things on children's clothing. Same as last year where a different sponsor was on children's replica shirts.
That said my two skinny but lanky daughters had betdaq on theirs last year as the largest child's size was way too small.
I don't think Gaughan will be overly worried about people emailing........ be interesting to see if you get a reply key though.0 -
Worried about adverts on kids shirts yet you can buy these:-

Was the same last season, it's shocking the amount of bookies/gambling companies that sponsor teams think nearly all pl clubs are or at least 70% of them0

Not sure that would make a big sponsor mate.iaitch said:Worried about adverts on kids shirts yet you can buy these:-
