Live television football during other games

I thought that TV could not show games live at the same time as other teams are playing. I believe a full EFL programme tonight so how come Sky are showing Cardiff v Leeds live?

I think the rules changed for this season ( or maybe just for Leeds!)

Think it only applies to 3pm games on Saturday

Yes, it's actually illegal NOT to show a Leeds game live.

its the 3 pm games on a Saturday which are covered by statute, whilst there are rules about showing games at same time as champions league games which is a contractual rule ie champions league supersedes everything
