Top 3 delicious (but somewhat strange) food combos

I’ll start..

1. Blue cheese on ginger snaps (biscuits)

2. Melted cheddar cheese toasted sandwich with Mango Chutney

3. Marmite on a chocolate covered bun

    Marmite and avocado on toast is my favourite strange combo.

  • Bacon and banana sandwiches
    Bovril and uncooked cheese on toast
  • Toasted Xmas pud with yoghurt. On Boxing day.

  • Blue cheese with quince paste (Quince paste is sold in supermarkets in Oz)

    Pineapple and cheese on a stick (Memories of parties in the 80s)

    Bacon with maple syrup
  • Marmite on rich tea biscuits
    Thinly sliced green apples in bacon sarnies
    Toasted cheese and lime pickle sandwiches
  • Only one I can think of is cream on top of cereal, especially cornflakes or Rice Krispies. As well as milk of course but it turns a cereal in to a pretty decent dessert.
  • Wow! Congratulations all on your pregnancies!!

  • Banana and Philadelphia sandwich. ( LUSH )
    Marmite and strawberry jam on toast. Half and half then fold together.

  • Marmoset and Sea Otter on rye with peanut butter.
  • Figs , garlic , chilli powder, single cream, lemon juice and spaghetti. Fry and watch mixture turn purple before adding to spaghetti. Looks strange but tastes excellent.

    I used to take Weetabix with butter for lunch at my junior school. Also shredded wheat with butter.
  • Had walnuts and cucumber on toast for breakfast this morning. Girlfriend says it's a little odd.
