  • Just found out he is my wifes, friends, husbands, mates brother. Does this now make me ITK?

    I think that’s called a tenuous link.

    Any news on the takeover?
  • I cant say enough about how much he impressed me last night.

Really hope to see him on bench Saturday and given the last 15-20 minutes

Dunno would still have Sarr and Dijksteel ahead of him on the bench then you've got the likes of Marshall | Lasplie | Vetokele | Reeves | Ajose who we'd have as an attacking sense

    Lapslie will be starting Saturday

V Southend we had RHF on bench would rather swap hin with Mascoll.

    Phillips
    Solly Pearce Bielik Bauer Page
    Pratley
    Lapslie Morgan
    Taylor Grant

    Steer
    Sarr
    Dijksteel
    Mascoll
    Marshall
    Vetokele
    Ajose

There is no chance of both Lapslie and Morgan starting. Lapslie yes I agree with but Morgan won’t start.
  • Good point I only looked at the bench as assumed starting line up matched Saturday's without actually checking!

    Someone needs to replace Cullen

And Ajose has done nothing to warrant a start.

Lapslie and Morgan work well together and have a good understanding so why not start both
  • What position is Mascoll?

Lapslie and Morgan work well together and have a good understanding so why not start both
Because those two together in a League game is far too inexperienced to start in midfield alongside Pratley. Bowyer has said time and time again that they’re good players and have done well but they’re not yet ready. He isn’t going to start two youngsters together on midfield, especially with the demands he puts on the two centre midfielders when we play a diamond for example.

Lapslie is likely to start but there is no chance both Lapslie and Morgan will start together on Saturday.

Hopefully Aribo is back in training tomorrow and could feature. Otherwise Ajose, Marshall, Vetokele, or Reeves are other options if Bowyer wanted to change it up slightly.
  • Or bring in Sarr for 3 at the back, and have Bielik in midfield
  • What position is Mascoll?

    Left back

Not sure, but i read he had a hip injury, so in Charlton terms that means we'll not see him until Easter

Bowyer said it was pretty minor
  • Just backtracking. At the start of this thread, it said we didn't `pay a fee for jamie Mascoll, but Dulwich have a sell on claues and we agreed to play a friendly. Is that the one we mucked them about with in the summer?

Supposed to be back to training today

Yes. We wanted to send an U23 side instead of the first XI, despite the deal being for the latter. Dulwich said, OK, in that case pay us a fee for Mascoll. We told we were disappointed with their attitude but we'd send a first XI. We then didn't promote the game at all, except to say you could watch in online with the player, despite an agreement not to announce that until close to kick off, resulting in a tiny crowd.
  • Why is Cullen not playing?

On International Duty with the Ireland U21s

  • Charlton youngster Jamie Mascoll has joined Dulwich Hamlet on an initial one-month loan deal.

The full-back – who joined the Addicks from Hamlet in 2017 – will return to his former club until at least March 23rd.
