    You have to want Russia over any of those other sides. Yes, they'll have home advantage but it's still far easier than a Germany or Brazil.

    I think from that fourth pot; Japan will be one of the teams we wont want to face!!...

    Australia are another, they'll almost be another Premier League B team with a handful of players who'll know the England players seeing they'll have faced them at some point during the season

    Always love watching Football Draws... Even when doing them on Football Manager - Think its the suspense of who your team is going to face and the disappointment when you find its another shite side like AFC Wimbledon

    was just a rough estimate he gets 1.75 million a year from the bbc for motd. so probably gets extras for jobs like this.

    I'm so excited. Maybe in the minority here but I'm desperate to get Argentina. Not played them competitively since 2002 and I love our rivalry with them, they actually hate us which can't really be said about the Germans. It runs deep with the Argies. I've just got back from Souh America and an astonishing amount of argies I came by were very, very keen to talk about the Falklands. We would probably struggle against Poland even though it's the 'easiest' team in pot 1. As for Russia, forget about it. I was in Marseille and there's no way I want to play those scumbags again.

    Having said all that I reckon we will get Russia.

    I did think about it but I think Iran, Saudi Arabia, Senegal and the like make it a bit too difficult and also, I'm skint at the minute so don't want to start paying out for postage on beers etc!!
