Mascoll puts us one up from a 25 yard free kick on stroke of half time. Millwall mainly in control though .

Give the kid a contract, looked great on his debut and now has scored against Millwall. Club legend in the making.

Agree with BB. Millwall tough and solid all over the pitch and generally dominant where some of our usual stand outs like Lapslie and Anfernee have been equalled. Some bravework by Blumberg and Cummings and a good double save from AMB.
RHF continues to improve tho and with him and Anderson we always have a chance. We expected Maloney to take the FK but Mascoll curved it hard and low past the wall to the keepers right. Against the run of play.
Out on a limb Seth prediction there will be a sending off in the second half.

    FULL-TIME | Charlton U23S 1 Millwall U23S 0. Mascoll's free-kick wins it for the Addicks, who make it back-to-back wins in Professional Development League 2 South! #cafc

Well done to the lads. It's a pity we haven't been able to do this to Millwall's first team over the years.

Just home to sunny Belvedere. A very hard fought victory against a very aggressive, spirited and game young lions team.

Defended well throughout and scored the only goal on the stroke of half time with a sublime free kick from Mascoll. The keeper never moved. I think he expected Maloney to take it and shoot in the opposite corner.

No real stand out players but was impressed with my first sighting of Maynard Brewer. A couple of scuffles in a tetchy first half. Proper south London derby. I welcome any win against those toe rags. Robinson did not appear to be there but Neil Harris was.

Three subs today because of the FA Youth Cup game at Exeter this evening so I believe.
Close competitive game, but we edged it with a good free kick. In my view RHF and Anderson played well, the other players were decent and continue to learn from a good examination as it were. Our own, or our old, or our respected Kevin Nugent was the Millwall manager. The Millwall No 10, Kris somebody was a really good test for Cummings and Blumberg.
    Nice to win.
  • Kris Twarder. Yeah he looked good.

  • Any win against them is monumental as far as I’m concerned. Well done lads.

Always nice to beat a big club from a higher division than ourselves.

Thank you for giving us the opportunity Katrien.

We spent the majority of our time in a higher division than Millwall until you and Roland came along but you don't 'do' history do you?

Mascoll looks a real player. Saw him in the Checkatrade match against Pompey and he has all the tools to be a first team player. May need a loan second half of the season, especially if Page gets back to fitness, but there's clearly something to work with there.

I can't see Page ever playing for us again personally, so it's nice to see Mascoll impressing and pushing towards a first team role. I wouldn't send him on loan, let him play the season for the U23's and possibly cover Dasilva.

Only on a short term contract, so needs a new deal first before we can think about loaning him out
