Storyville.The Work:Four Days To Redemption.

Hopefully for once a serious and considered post from me, that won't rub some people up the wrong way.

I found this very powerful and moving, to the point of tears.

Not that I've ever spent time in prison or committed any dreadful crimes, though some of my girlfriends over the years, might beg to differ;) but I had a difficult relationship with my father and my mother, that I know still impacts on me today.

My father wasn't absent in a physical sense, he was there throughout my childhood but he was absent emotionally, they both were and for me that emotional absence was crucial.

I'm not saying this with a wish to blame, though for years I did. I'm trying to change my viewpoint towards my parents and try and appreciate how it might have been for them.
