PC Keith Palmer memorial at the Valley

The museum's memorial to PC Keith Palmer will be unveiled today at 1.00pm following a short ceremony attended by members of the Police, the Armed Forces and PC Palmer's family.
After speaking to the family liaison officers and the family a low key event without a great deal of publicity was felt to be the most appropriate.
Fans are welcome to attend the ceremony in the memorial section behind the Bartram statue or visit the permanent stone memorial during later visits to pay their respects.
RIP Keith Palmer

Lovely tribute. Keith was a real Charlton hero - he will never be forgotten by Charlton friends nor his colleagues in the Royal Artillery and the Metropolitan Police. RIP

Just phoned Steve Barnes and thanked him personally; I also took it upon myself to thank him from all Addicks, I hope you don’t mind.Henry Irving said:A huge thank you to Barnes Memorials of Sevenoaks who waived their fee for erecting the memorial as a mark of respect to PC Palmer http://www.barnesmemorials.co.uk/barnes-memorials.html
He was well chuffed and said “it was the least he could do under the circumstances.”7 -

Wish he'd had a twitter or facebook account to link to but couldn't see one.
Glad he knows about the unveiling too as he put it up about six weeks ago! We do plan in advance : - )1 -
