    He wouldn't have had to if he hadn't appointed Iain Dowie (in order to get one over Jordan - even though he'd already got one over him!), handed him the war-chest to buy such gems as Faye, then almost immediately sacked him then appointed hapless Uncle Les.

    The most needless relegation ever, and at probably the worst time. All down to ego and complete cluelessness.
