Aribo playing well imo. Magennis is shit....as usual, its almost like playing with 10.5 men - at least , i suppose, he occupies one of the opposition players.
Not much in it really. We looked very flat for much of the first half. Came alive toward the end. Billy Clarke is apparently playing but haven't seen him. I don't really know what Mark Marshall is supposed to do. He seems to take a couple touches to control it then sort of turns in slow motion to run at a player and usually just deflects it out for a throw. Ricky is doing that Ricky Holmes thing where he has a couple minutes of brilliance but apart from that has lost the ball with every touch. Josh has pressed well but largely been feeding on scraps.
At the back Sarr has been very good. Konsa has been solid. But we desperately miss Kashi. Today is a good reminder that when our attacks break down he is so often there and in the way to get the ball back when it bounces loose. I know he gets a lot of criticism for sideways passing, but he really dictates play and allows us to switch the point of attack, plus allows the center backs to push further up, all of which we're lacking. JFC has started to drop deeper but he doesn't quite look comfortable or disciplined enough.
On the bright side everything good has come through DaSilva. He really is a wonderful player. And Joe Aribo, who hit the outside of the post with a header, has shown he's more than good enough at this level. The biggest problem is that he and JFC want to take up similar positions, and it leaves a hole at the back of the midfield.
The free kick given for the goal was absolutely ridiculous. DaSiva defends really well, gets between the man and the ball, gets shoved over, and somehow give away a foul.

Including 3 in 3 minutes ..... 40th, 41st and 42nd minutes.
I wonder how many have missed the goals getting the halftime beers in early?
Also love that it's more of a tracksuit onesie on the kid.
KAG for Marshall or Holmes may make a difference
Shit defending ...
... again.
Good ball in, we did not defend it well.
