Move along now people, nothing to see here, move along now please.3

Probably gone to Newcastle to avoid bumping into pissed up charlton fans giving them grief for having the audacity to have a xmas do10

Shameful
Some of them are drinking Carlsberg23 -
No problem with it whatsoever. They've had a good season so far and this would've been organised months ago. They were all at Charlton station after the game and were all chatting away with fans and having pictures with kids. Seem a decent group, I don't begrudge them a night out. As for social media, that's just the times we live in, nothing to get worked up about.18

We do have some extremely special fans certainly. Many who are happy with this sort of stuff after another unconvincing performance as long as they get a retweet by a player or get a little ego boost fawning over them at functions/ photo ops etc and the football almost becomes secondary.000__Jaaaaay__000 said:Get over it , if you have a bad day at work, what do you normally do? Go for a drink and forget about it. People getting hard ons and jumping on the players backs cause they're having their Xmas party which they planned months ago. We really do have a special bunch of fans don't we
Luckily we still have some fans who have a winning mentality and aren't OK with the club captain and team having the time of their lives out on the piss hours after losing at home in an important and poignant game.
If this had been Roger Johnson spleens would be bursting.
If you can't understand the substantial difference between professional athletes in the modern game where narrow margins are everything (like not going on a weekend bender 6 days before a big fixture and after a significant loss) and the office workers/builders/professional saddle sniffers on here going on a session after a shit day at work then it's futile debating it. Pointless comparison.
Modern players want all the praise and plating when they do the most minor of good things so they can take deserved criticism when they invoke it.
Do not imagine the likes of Roy Keane, Alex Ferguson or Curbishley would be happy with this. But they were born winners and not trying to be mates with everyone.
Don't expect us to win ever...just do everything they can to try to and perhaps have a bit more character when they don't.
Tossers and if they don't get promoted it will be stuff like this and the mentality it shows rather than merely the antics of the tossbag ownership.11 -
Get promoted then have a 3 week party end of season for all I care.

Did Roger Johnson go?4

Wonder if they'll get snowed in up there.0

Its stupid they've posted it over Social Media yet cant begrudge them having a Christmas Party as all clubs have one and will be good to have the players together on a night out
But why this weekend? - If going up North surely do it after Blackburn when your a few miles from Manchester and where a loss wont mean quite so much as it did yesterday4 -
Clive and me put them right on the cheaper tickets.ForeverAddickted said:Its stupid they've posted it over Social Media yet cant begrudge them having a Christmas Party as all clubs have one and will be good to have the players together on a night out

To be fair, would you really want a night out in Blackburn?ForeverAddickted said:Its stupid they've posted it over Social Media yet cant begrudge them having a Christmas Party as all clubs have one and will be good to have the players together on a night out

They're entitled to have a night out, but acting like total pr*cks in public in official club garb then posting it on social media is a complete embarrassment.22

Not really surprised Karl thinks he’s a lad and had mk dons players at Cheltenham who were extremely badly behaved, they should be depressed after that performance but modern footballers I think2

The owner of this once great club took away any shred of its decency the moment he got his lemmings to walk through the door.
We are way past the embarrassing stage!5 -
They are just carrying on where they left off from the pitch.newyorkaddick said:They're entitled to have a night out, but acting like total pr*cks in public in official club garb then posting it on social media is a complete embarrassment.

I know he doesn't get many goals (and never did), but why would he put them on Instagram?11 -
Was he on his way to Aston Villa?ricky_otto said:

Like many others,no real problem with them having a night out but travelling in Charlton gear is bloody stupid.
However, I would be interested to know whether they were in their own private carriage or whether they were sharing it with other people. If,as I assume it was the latter, acting like that makes the journey very unpleasant for other people and shows the players themselves and the club in a bad light.2 -
His bird is his one saving grace - other than that he’s a waste of a weeks wages.iamdan said:I looked at his Instagram. Have you seen his misses though!?
