11.25 ITV- Cats and Dogs: the revenge of kitty galore
13:10 channel 4+1- alvin and the chipmunks

    Finally but best of all

The Green Mile is a better film than Jurassic World but at Christmas I'd rather a bit of escapism.
  • Green Mile is excellent and love Despicable Me.
  • Is Jurassic Poke on this week?

Even when my kids were young enough to watch these they wouldn’t have bothered watching Cats and Dogs : The revenge of Kitty Galore !

Paulie has got it all wrong. Children need to be watching the uncut version of Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Cannibal Holocaust.
  • Some good choice there. Will tune into Film4 for Ex Machina.

Nice one @Bedsaddick I knew you'd come good :+1: .I've told the Mrs and you're back on her Christmas card list, only 364 days to go  .
  • Love Uncle Buck. First time I saw it was in a flight to Bangkok in 1990, had never even heard of it at the time.

Why not watch both lol, jurassic World finishes at 9, just in time for The Green Mile
  • Will be watching Ex Machina tonight, outstanding film.

Love Uncle Buck. First time I saw it was in a flight to Bangkok in 1990, had never even heard of it at the time.

Was telling a friend how good it was yesterday when we were watching Home Alone and she asked if Macauley Culkin had been in anything else (apart from Home Alone 2, obviously).

Told her Richie Rich was worth a watch too, if very daft!

  • Spanish TV surprisingly has much of the same films as in the UK over Christmas. The Empire Strikes Back is on at the moment and Christmas Eve and yesterday we had all the classics - Home Alone, Grease, Ben Hur and, most enjoyably, It's a Wonderful Life.
  • Watched Uncle Buck - such a nice, easy boxing day watch whilst stuffing myself with turkey sandwiches and chocolate.
  • I've not seen Ex Machina yet. One of those things that sat in my Netflix queue for ages. Think I may make a fire in the fireplace and watch it tonight. Thank you all for the recommendation.
