Robinson isn't the problem. It's these owners. I'm not saying he is doing great but, bottom line, the problem lays with these owners. They are sucking the soul out of our club.
Robinson in or out makes no difference, club can’t and won’t progress with these owners. Hope some of the flimsy takeover rumours have some weight to them otherwise the club will continue in its decline. Regardless of whether we are somewhat better than last season, overall we are in decline on and off the pitch.
RD has no record for being patient with his managers and will be seriously pissed off as this lousy run will be taking millions off his asking price. I expect he will be trigger happy but even RD must realise that Robbo has a truly dire injury list, plus a lack of a genuine goalscorer. I think Robbo's chances of surviving January are about 50/50. Personally I hope he wins a few and survives but without reinforcements we are doomed to stay in crappy Division 1 and I'll be very surprised if RD will allow Robbo to buy anyone as he wants to sell. It is all negative at the moment but who knows what is around the corner...new owner, new optimism?
No point in sacking him, who will come in to replace him?
Those above him are the issue, I doubt KR will be given significant funds in Jan so a new manager wouldn't be either.
I'll cut KR a bit of slack as the injury list is a shocker and historically we are always crap in December but, his formation stubbornness and lack of a plan b is now beginning to bug me.
Not Robinson’s fault we are having to play kids as our squad is paper thin.
Took the job, knowing what tools he was dealt with & what he woulda been able to spend & what on,....it's he himself who bigged himself up about playing the said kids, know maybe if they were coached & nurtured properly...who knows, but he knew the risks,so should accept the consequences & the flack...!!! Ultimately it's us that suffer...we should all be sticking together & getting this fucking owner out of our club...not sitting there at home games clap happy hoping it will change... Yes I'm a boycotter,it hurts but fuck am I gonna be sitting in a seat given squirrel the ammunition to report back about the exaggerated attendance to uncle Roly that all is good down at The Valley of Doom...
(I'm not actually saying we do need to get rid of Robinson, but saying it's not his fault...it's his making also, but yes understand it does start at the top...)
Another thing. Any incoming manager would have to devise a strategy to play to the players strengths. We have a team of midgets, so we can't play long ball even if we wanted to, unless we buy bigger players and that is most unlikely. So a new manager would have to use a similar system to Robbo's favoured 42211. In that case we might just as well keep Robbo, as at least he believes in his system and is (usually) enthusiastic.
Sacking Robinson in not the answer, keeping Robinson is not the solution. Roland is the problem, he goes the landscape changes whether Robinson is here or not.
New ownership and Robinson out the door would suit me.
I don't think that any decent manager would come to us under the current regime, and this has coloured my (already negative) impression of him.
His complete inability to do anything that smacks of tactical flexibility and awareness, and his previous enthusiastic pro-Regime comments (when he could have just said nothing), leave me thinking that the most positive thing I could say about him is "meh".
If any of us, putting ourselves in the position of a new owner, looking at his career to date with us, was honestly willing to trust him to make the right decisions on promotion (both in terms of player purchases and tactical approach), I'd recommend seeking help.
He may be a good manager in time, but he isn't now.
He needs to take a step back, go away somewhere and become an assistant, learning from the successes and mistakes of others. At the moment, we're his on the job training.
He plays the same way, week in & week out, even if he hasn't got the personnel to do it. How long do you want to wait until you see that his tactics simply don't work - especially not with the injuries we currently have.
Of course Roland is at fault & nothing is really going to change until he goes, but what do you do in the meantime - just carry on as we are ???? To me that is defeatist & is giving up. Something has got to change & change fast. I have already given up on the play-offs & just hoping we don't get sucked into a relegation battle. Yes, that could happen. We are that bad. We don't usually score more an a goal a game & usually are a goal down before we do score.
But don't worry all you Robinson lovers he won't be going anywhere. Roland won't get rid of him because he doesn't care what happens to CAFC. His given up as well. So until there is a takeover we will just limp on, and on, and on.
well summed up Golfie. Going nowhere under Robinson, nowhere under Roland. Even if Robinson goes it will be the same old, same old until there is a change of ownership.
Tbh it’s not Robinson fault injuries are killing our season, you take any 4/5 starters out of a any premiership starting line and results would suffer, my criticism his if you didn’t not have they players to play your favourite formation change your tactics and formation!!

Transfer window:- buy the best striker you can afford and get players to play to his strengths.
During the season:- play your best players in the positions they play, that play to your strikers strengths.
Formations sort themselves out.
Simples.
Do we do this?
If the answer is no, we need a new manager.
If yes, keep him.
For what is is worth I think we failed at the first hurdle and don't think it really matters who is the manager with the squad we have. We need a new owner that understands the basics.
Fuck all to do with Robinson now, it’s all up to Roland.
Robinson quoted as saying he had an outstanding budget and as saying RD does not interfere at all and that KM is excellent. He chased Reeves all summer and bought in Marshall, Page and Dodoo.
Don’t get me wrong, I wouldn’t sack him, it is no coincicidence that we have had zero success in 3years of current ownership BUT if he is going to come With these claims and go for plaudits at City Addick about signing Fosu he has to take a fair slug of the blame for now and should certainly not be immune from criticism just because RD is the arch villain.
Needs to change tactics, needs to learn to pipe down sometimes and have a little more tact and needs to learn to bring the right players into the club. Can’t help thinking a more experienced number 2 would have helped in a situation like now but that, again, was his choice.
Didn't buy Dodoo - he loaned him. Fosu was a fantastic signing.
Fosu............think he got very Lucky with that signing.......otherwise the question would be why did Jaap Stam agree to the deal.
I’ve always supported Robinson. That said, part company now and give it to Jackson. What I’ve heard, get rid of Bowyer as well. Playoffs still possible, but I don’t think Robinson is up to the job.
If Robinson is sacked whilst RD is in charge it will accelerate our demise. No manager better than KR will be appointed under Roland. We’ll get Fraye mark II at best.
Until Duchatelet sells up we are best treading water.
