Been waiting for the first ever launch of this new rocket for some time. The biggest, most powerful rocket since the last Saturn V launch over 40 years ago. It has 27 engines!!! Hope to catch it live, when it happens.
What makes this somewhat exciting is that Elon Musk is not sure it won't blow up.....
"Explaining the risks involved during a speech in July, Musk himself said there was a good chance the rocket wouldn’t make it to orbit, and that he would be happy if it just makes it far enough from the launch pad in NASA’s Kennedy Space Center to not destroy it."
It's cargo is a Tesla Roadster.
