John, as much as I share your feelings towards Meire and admire your desire to do something about her, I'm not sure that use of the club logo on linkedin is really an issue to pursue. I don't think it's unreasonable to have a picture that represents her past employment as long as she's not deliberately using it to pedal a lie that she still works for the club; and I see no reason for that as she's effectively earned herself a promotion to SWFC. What would the ramifications be if we applied the logic to all social media? NYA, above, has already questioned his use of the badge on Whatsapp. What about my Facebook banner, do I have to change that? It's clearly taken in the Charlton car park, but I've never worked for the club. And what about thousands of people who've used images of the crest for fun, from little kids drawing pictures to grown adults getting tattoos? Are they equally offensive? I'd suggest not. I think it's a very slippery slope for supporters to be arguing for restrictions on its use.
Where I disagree with some of the other posters who have argued against you is that I still see Meire as a legitimate target. Not purely out of retribution, though I don't deny that. As a football fan I find it appalling that she should have free licence to treat another club like she has treated ours. Worse still that she'll be able to hold her position with the Football League. Football really needs to sort itself out. People like Meire should not be allowed into positions of power. I see no reason why Charlton fans should 'get a life' or 'let go of this weird obsession'. To me I've never gone by the out of sight out of mind philosophies. I just don't think that a picture on Linkedin is a reasonable target.
I really don't understand the fuss, everyone knows she worked at Charlton, her 'history' on Linkedin is always going to show that and the Charlton badge against the years she worked here. I'm sure she'll change her main image to one with Sheffield Wednesday before too long. But regardless of all the things to worry about right now this really isn't one of them.
I'm more worried about the result today than what an ex CEO has as their picture profile on Linkedin.
On a general note, Linkedin represents the very worst of the human race. I go on it because I have to for lead sourcing, but some of the self satisfied smug shit people put on there is shocking. It really is a site where people just put updates about how great they are
I have to resist tearing into total strangers to let them know what tossers they are because the site is unfortunately still a ‘professional network’

I just knew you weren't all sweetness and light cuddles

if they're a 'total stranger' how do you know they're 'tossers'?
1. Fuck up Sheffield Thursday by Wednesday. 2. Find, smirk and disengage from it's customers 3. Is there a DFS in Sheffield, the sales are on. 4. Do they do vol-u-vants up north? Bernie Ecclestone is due at 12.00. 5. "Sex in the centre circle?" "That's a great idea!" 6. "Merde, where did i write down my LinkedIn password" "was it, UrgreatAndBeautiful or URbeautifulAndgreat?"
This is a self defeating gesture that makes us look petty and vindictive and plays into her victim narrative.
She cannot be allowed to stoke the lie that CAFC fans had a problem with her because she was a women/foreign when it was, in fact, because she was arrogant, clueless and laughably shit at her job.

A stunning sense of self importance and massive egos. Let them get on with it.
Please for the love of god don't report me
us in a fcuking state.
As for moving on i think she has been misplaced and until she is out of football altogether the football world is fcuked up.
Hound her out of the country.
