Seeing as only two Premier League Players have signed up to Juan Mata's 'Common Goal' charity, I would think it's highly unlikely they'd help out Hartlepool.
I bet most of them would have no idea where Hartlepool even was.
With Common Goal the Sad part is it’s not even what would be callled high profile Premier league players. Charlie Daniels, Alfie Mawson and Kasper Schmeichal. Only 36 names on the members list in total Mata and Hummels would be the best known. When you think of the money some of the top players earn it’s a pretty poor showing.
When it comes to footballers putting their hands in their pockets to help out smaller clubs to say it’s unlikely would be an understatement.
I really hope Hartlepool get out of this mess, always been one of my other clubs, apparently there is a possibility of financial support from Sweden
