Hang on. Under 8 to Under 23 is 15 years.
Only 500 goals in 15 years. That's only 33.3333 goals per year. Or, with 52 weeks in the year, only 0.6346 goals a week.

Seriously, he looks like a fine prospect. But I've seen quite a few youngsters come through the youth system that have been absolute goal machines who don't quite cut it at the first team level. I really hope young Alex makes it.1
