Matt Hunn has had to retire from first class cricket due to ongoing injury issues. Wish him all the best in his career away from cricket.

real shame for him. When I first saw him I was very impressed. Good pace and length.

gives Sussex a bowling point but may stop Warwicks get their extra batting point which is good if we want to win it and not just come 2nd. O dear I'm getting greedy!

It didn't, so they get 4 points!

The bonus point system seems a bit flawed to me, even thinking neutrally it seems weird for Sussex to be awarded a bonus point for getting 3 wickets in 110 overs, which is a pretty dismal effort really!

Sussex have missed out on two bowling points so the live differential is 23 points.

We need it to be more than 24 once this round of matches are finished.

Kent lead over Sussex down to 23. 50 runs from restoring that lead to 24. I hope Warks bowl them out cheaply and then that is it!

We will be more than 24 points. Sussex cannot win their game from here and a 100 lead for us on first innings will be enough to force the win.

Anyone checked the weather forecast for Canterbury?

    YES!

Was getting quite nervous for him, having twice just missed out!

    Well played, young lad.

Now press on and make it a big 'un, get us plenty of batting points and promotion.

    No pressure ...

  • Warwickshire now collapsing.

371-4, Trott the latest to go.

He's been ok in the one day stuff eg the final against Hampshire but 'proper cricket' has been a struggle.
