    Gutted to lose that, brilliant game. If we had only started better we have fielded that well and Billings has kept that we'll everytime I've watched us this season

    I know that and that's why I suggested that Billings might be shifting the blame.

    I also know that we never had any intention of playing 3 spinners so we, clearly, misread the pitch and prepared one for their bowling strength.

    Don’t think he was shifting the blame. If I was him I’d be pretty annoyed we’ve just prepared that pitch, clearly playing into Lancs hands. So much for home advantage and all that

    That total was never going to be enough

    In retrospect we played too many slogs trying to force the scoring. We needed proper batsmen in for the last 5 overs
