Is there anyone on this thread who regularly attends our W away matches and would be prepared to complete a short fans’ survey after each match? If so, could you DM me please? The Football Supporters’ Association and the WSL are looking to gather feedback across this season. Thanks in advance.

The match preview for tomorrow's game confirms that Neville has served her suspension and is available for selection again (apologies if that was already known, but I wasn't sure!).

Ventured over to the Palace site which confirms no stream tonight. In fact they say "This game will not be broadcasted", nice to know it isn't just our comms team with room for improvement

Flannery is incredibly deserving of that

Just got my ticket for Brighton. Love the contradiction on the women's away tickets page: It says "Tickets for Charlton Athletic Women away games must be purchased through the Ticket Office of the opposition"... right above the option to buy away tickets from our own site.

It can be confusing. Tickets for away cup games are sold by the home team's ticket office.

GK howler for the first palace goal!

    presumably a weakened opposition too?

3 nil FT, thats 6 defeats in a row with one goal scored across those games. We know we have a fraction of the budget of many of the teams weve faced and tonight a weaker team was put out there, but it cant be good for morale.

Answers the Waldie, Lockwood and Humphrey questions at least. Good to give the other players minutes and keep them ticking over inn a completely pointless cup competition

Not sure how much we can read into that. I actually thought Lockwood and Waldie were OK - but then being no more than "OK" in a cup game against a fellow promoted side who also rested players suggests how little they'll have to offer in the WSL. Humphrey isn't captain material and wasted a free kick from a dangerous position in the second half when Hutton could have taken it, Robe wasn't terrible but looks like she's scared of playing the ball forwards, and Kenney had one of her "Gets frustrated and gives away lots of fouls" games.

Koivunen had an awful night, as she let a tame (albeit bouncing) shot go past her for the opener and was made to look foolish by the third, a right-footed cross from the left that no one got a head on and bounced into the corner of the net. She never came for any crosses into the box, and I think (I'd have to see the highlights as I didn't have the greatest view)  that contributed to the second goal, which admittedly went in via a deflection. I don't really see why we used up some of the budget on her when we already had Pedersen, because the early evidence is that she's not up to it.

There was a brief period in the second half when we put pressure on them, but all it resulted in was a Korhonen shot from outside the box that went well wide. They then got the second before Hutton came on, and she (unsurprisingly) produced our best moment, winning the ball off a Palace player, driving forward and hitting a shot that came off the inside of the post. To have any chance this season, we need those fine margins to go our way - and we also need to be in a position where we aren't relying on Hutton scoring a worldie every game.

It looked liked Johnston dislocated her shoulder, so our bad luck with injuries continues. As CAFCTrev says, morale must be pretty low, and the longer it goes without us even managing to avoid defeat, the harder it's going to get psychologically.

Watching the game last night it was clear that the Palace players were fitter and had ball skills far better than our starting eleven. Carla Humphrey looked to be fitter than the rest but needs matches.

Jodie Hutton came on and is in a different class.

I hope Anna Pedersen is in goal on Sunday.

    Why not Whitehouse?

It's a pointless game. Koivunen showed absolutely no confidence last night.

Pedersen would be better on the bench in league games so giving her some game time would be good.

Why is Sunday's WSL game pointless?

Sorry, my mistake. I misheard Karen in her interview. I mean for the final cup game.

I expect it's because we're anticipating losing Whitehouse in the summer and want to bed in her replacement now. We only managed to get Whitehouse to sign a one year extension and she will no doubt have a good enough season that she interests at least one WSL team. She's a better keeper than Eartha Cumings for instance and at the very least she'll be picked up by a WSL side as a deputy. Koivunen is on a two year deal I believe so I assume the idea is to give her a bit of time to adapt now and then have her ready to take over next season almost certainly in the WSL2. I'm not too worried, keepers can take a while to settle, she's come over from another country into a team who are getting run around the place every week and has a team of reserves in front of her when she does play. I thought Pedersen looked excellent in the cup games she played last season but I guess if we didn't see her as a WSL2 number 1 it makes sense to get a better keeper in and give her time. I guess we'll see, Koivunen is a Finnish international and has been playing at a decent level, she's obviously got something

They posted earlier today (though it appears to have vanished) that tickets would be taken off sale at 1pm.

It definitely hasn't sold out - you can get one on the day.
